About
I started LaLa Isla Scents because of my mom. After having respiratory issues since I was a baby, I started having reactions to the chemicals in perfumes, candles and lotions. She has always had this incredible ability to create scents that are fresh, alluring, and timeless. People have always complimented her, saying, “Simone, I just love that scent; where can I get it?” When I finally asked her how she did it, she revealed that she only used non-toxic oils to create her scents. They never caused my skin or lungs to react like other perfumes had. She inspired me to create this business of non-toxic perfume oils and candles to make for myself, my friends, and our growing community that cares about non-toxic and sustainable beauty products.
Mission
Our mission is to create the scents of our favorite moments and destinations by using the flowers, plants and auras of these magical times while using non toxic ingredients and sustainable packaging.
Humane Society Charity
As a Californian I've seen how destructive the wildfires have been to wildlife in the past few years. During the 2020 US west coast wildfire season, it was estimated that over 1 billion animals were killed or displaced by the fires. Hurricanes, floods, and other natural disasters can have a devastating impact on animal populations as well, leading to displacement, injury, and loss of life.

That's why we not only use sustainable packaging which reduces carbon emissions to not add to climate change, but we donate 5% of our profits to the Humane Society. They help animals that are suffering as a result of the wildfires.
